The Best Supplements for Energy and Focus (Without Caffeine)

When you’re tired it can be really hard to think straight, and you just feel like you need a quick fix solution right? Well why wouldn’t you?

You’ve been exhausting yourself doing things that are just not that much fun, and maybe you’ve been wondering how you can slow your life down to a more manageable pace.

In the meantime, you want a boost!

It’s likely that your biggest question is always how you can get more energy to do all the things you want to do.

There are many products out there that promise energy in a bottle that won’t do you any good at all, in fact they will make things a lot worse. They don’t need to be illegal to do you more harm than good, many are marketed at ‘herbal’ to make you feel better about buying them. Please don’t.

Let’s look at that in further detail.

You’re tired and run down and you need and want a boost. You honestly feel that if you have that energy drink or those stimulating energy pills that you will be able to power on through the rest of the day and achieve great things.

At 20 you could probably have got away with that. At that age you can go out partying all night, sleep for 3 hours on a hard floor at your mate’s house and still turn up to work the next day looking reasonably alert. Those were the days eh?

Now as a proper adult what your body needs is nourishing. It’s a slower way of doing things but it’s much more effective.

If you’re too tired to live your life properly then stimulating an already exhausted body is going to be really damaging. You are forcing your body to do things that it just can’t do.

Maybe this is sustainable in the short term but the more you bombard it with artificial substances like caffeine and stimulating herbs, the less resilient you’re going to become. You’re going to peak and be fantastic, then your energy will drop and you’ll feel shattered and low.

The only way to feel good again is to get another hit. Caffeine, sugar and herbal stimulants are like drugs to an exhausted person. This is not healthy or sustainable.

The good news is that there are things that can help. There are supplements and life changes (or life hacks?) that can really make a difference to you leading a better quality of life.
