What’s The Best Online Supplement Store UK?

It can be difficult to know where to buy supplements online and who you can trust.

The main benefit of buying your supplements online is convenience. You can browse the shop at any time, do your research and place your order without even leaving the house. A few days later your supplements will be delivered to your door.

Some online supplement stores will despatch by Royal Mail and others by courier, it often depends on the size of your order. Letterbox friendly slimline bottles are handy, but bulky items like powders will obviously be trickier to package.

Fortunately, that’s not your problem. When ordering online you can just sit back, relax and wait for them to be delivered. All online stores should have details available to let you know their estimated despatch and shipping times which means that you can plan when to order next time to avoid running out.

You may find it helpful to find a shop that identifies with your specific needs, or if you’re just looking to support your health in general with no specific issues then a good all rounder will be fine for you.

Here are 3 of the best online supplement stores in the UK that in our opinion are doing it well.

  1. Dolphin Fitness

We would say that the layout is a bit dated. However, the price certainly makes up for that. Tiana Extra Virgin Coconut Oil 500mg from Dolphin Fitness is £11.45. The same item is £16.59 in Holland and Barrett at the time of writing.

Dolphin Fitness have flexible delivery times and prices. Some items are sent my Royal Mail and some by courier but they’re all well wrapped, and even melted coconut oil delivered on a hot day was safe inside a box and a big layer of bubble wrap when we ordered.

Dolphin Fitness sell a good all round selection of supplements, food, drink and accessories, even if it is a bit hard to find your way around.

  1. Supplement Centre

If you’re passionate about body building, then Supplement Centre seems the place to be. They have bargains, offers, and bundles so there are plenty of ways to save money.

They have a ‘Supps Guide’ offering advice on recovery, pre-workout and energy, weight gain, weight loss and lean muscle.

It’s one of those websites where you could spend hours researching, comparing, and making a wish list before you decide what to buy. They offer free delivery over £75 which seems very high, but you could maximise this offer by ordering in bulk. If you’re serious about building muscle and working out, then this probably wouldn’t be an issue for you.

  1. A Vogel

Although not a supplement store as such, A Vogel still does have a lot to offer. If you’re interested in herbal remedies, then A Vogel stocks a comprehensive and quality range. They offer advice on various health issues and as they’ve been around for a long time, they have a wealth of experience. You can search for a product and find out where to buy it locally, or you can order it online.

When you put a search in for a product the results look a bit dated, it feels a bit clumsy and is not very intuitive. When we searched for Pollinosan Hayfever Tablets it gave us a list of articles. On closer inspection the product was listed there but it was hard to find.

For some reason, probably because they sell good remedies, you put up with it. Their postage is not very fast and you need to spend £30 to qualify for free delivery. With Pollinosan being £10.50 it would make sense to order 3 to save yourself £2 postage (every little helps) but also because deliveries just aren’t that speedy.

They may not be great with ease of searching and speedy delivery but it still saves you trekking into town.

In Summary

Of course this is not an exhaustive list and what pleases one person doesn’t please another.

Visit the shop and get a feel for its layout, the colour, the feel of it and if it’s speaking to you. Does it feel safe and trustworthy to you? A huge amount of money is spent by retailers on the high street to make the shopping experience pleasurable. On the other hand, some opt for a bargain basement type approach but that’s fine too. There is room for everyone and everything.

Dolphin Fitness, Supplement Centre and A Vogel are all quite different types of supplements stores but they all have their place. In full transparency we can tell you that we’ve had regular orders from Dolphin Fitness and A Vogel with no problems, and although we haven’t tired Supplement Centre it looks good so wouldn’t have a problem shopping there.
